I’m A Celebrity’s Danny Baker divides viewers with his constant jokes as he makes his jungle debut
The star only entered the jungle camp a few hours ago, but he has sparked a mixed reaction online thanks to his near-constant jokes
I'M A Celebrity viewers were left split as Danny Baker made his jungle debut tonight - armed with endless cringe jokes and one-liners.
The broadcaster, 59, entered camp late alongside Homes Under The Hammer star Martin Roberts, before the pair went off almost instantly to face their first Bushtucker Trial.
Having successfully shaken up the camp, some of their co-stars reacted better than others to their arrival - and the same can be said for viewers.
While many praised Danny for his comedy, others have already grown tired of it.
One Twitter user wrote: "No I'm not being funny but Danny Baker has just come in and spoiled the whole programme."
While another added: "Danny Baker is officially the most irritating man on the planet and carol is the most annoying woman."
And one wrote: "Couldn't agree with Martin more 'nobody likes a gloating winner' that Danny Baker is one arrogant moron!!!
But plenty more stars got behind Danny, showering him with praise and insisting he's bringing something to the camp.
One wrote: "Super Danny Baker just what this mamby pamby jungle nobodies needed."
And one added: "Love Danny Baker."
While some were simply on the fence as one wrote: "I’ve always loved Danny Baker on the radio but I wouldn’t choose to live with him in a jungle … he sounds like he’d be better value in a pub."
