The pair confirmed they were in a relationship in April 2015.

Stepping out at the New York City premiere of Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Evanna told magazine that she and Robbie were no longer an item, though she said: "We're still friends."

The animal lover added: "We're both vegans, so we go to a lot of vegan events together. So yeah, we're good friends."

Just three weeks ago Robbie posted a throwback photo on Instagram of the couple on a trip to New Zealand in 2013.

On Evanna's Instagram meanwhile she posted a quote by poet Rupi Kaur several months ago, reading: "you mustn't have to/make him want you/he must want you himself."

She captioned the quote with a broken-heart emoji.

In another post not long after, she shared a photo of some poetry she'd written herself, captioning it: "Still in a sad place. Arting it out."

The poem read: "Sadly my heartstrings/are not like elastics/that snap and retract/when you pull back./They're more like spider silks/That stretch and thin and cling/Leaving my insides, outside./And me/weak."
