HONEY G got a standing ovation once again on tonight’s X Factor.

The ‘rapper’ performed a mash up of It’s Like That / Getting Jiggy With It  - which included her very own music video to start the performance.

The excessive production didn’t go unnoticed though and Nicole Scherzinger couldn’t help pointing it out saying: “Production be on steroids.”

She also admitted that she was getting a little tired of the act, telling her: “Towards the end I started tot think am I seeing the same thing week after week.”

The other judges couldn’t get enough though and Louis gushed: “Every week I cannot wait to see what you do. You rehearse all day, every day. You rehearse more than anyone else. You deserve a place on the show.”

While Simon shocked viewers at home by telling her: “A lot of people have called me this week and asking are you judging her based on talent, maybe it’s time for a reality check. Here’s the truth. I love you. I don’t know why. You are infectious.

“Is it the best thing I have ever heard? No? do I look forward to you coming back? Yes. It’s time to rip up the rule book.”

Those watching at home were less than impressed though and took to Twitter to complain about the glowing comments.

One person remarked: “It must be a fix If Honey G gets through this weekend I am not watching X factor ever again she's a joke.”

While another wrote: “Every year @SimonCowell bangs on about wanting someone with the X factor and then bigs up honey g, need to rename this show. Complete farce😒”

And someone else tweeted: “What about that the vote on the X factor app said 74% did not like it, so why is Honey G still in?”
