The I'm a Celebrity Extra Camp host took on the challenge as part of the spin-off show's competition with the main camp to see who can win the most stars.

blasted through the trial with the emotional support of her co-host Chris Ramsey, who was left gobsmacked at her perseverance even when she nearly fell in a tub full of guts.

As she dove straight into a tub of rotting vegetables, Chris gagged as he announced: "Christ on a bike it stinks!" before telling Vicky "You are the hardest lass I have ever met in my life!"

Meanwhile Emmerdale star Adam Thomas - who was voted to do the trial in a public vote - managed to win a respectable eleven stars in the trial as he faced his fears and went up against spiders to earn food for the camp.

Viewers at home labelled the trial 'comedy gold' as the squeamish star screamed and grunted through the grisly trial, with the 28-year-old diving head first in to vats of creepy crawlies, slime and other unspeakable horrors as part of the Food Factory challenge.

He then faced a tray of rats – but was so rough with them in his bid to grab another star that the Geordie duo had to remind him to be “nice and gentle” with the innocent creatures.
