I’m A Celebrity’s Carol Vorderman and Joel Dommett get the seal of approval for jungle ‘romance’ from pal Claire Sweeney
THE blossoming relationship between Carol Vorderman and Joel Dommett has been given the thumbs up by Carol's pal Claire Sweeney.
The actress, 45, has said that despite the 25-year age gap, she can see love on the cards and wouldn't be surprised if the 30-year-old comedian fell for her.
Viewers of I'm A Celebrity have seen sparks flying between the two as they've flirted with each other.
Carol's pal Claire told Closer: "Carol is a gorgeous woman so it wouldn't surprise me if he fancied her.
"All men do when they meet Carol! She likes maths and he likes maths - she's a very intelligent woman so he'd have to be clever too.
"Maybe it's a match made in heaven!"
Claire thinks Carol's sexy aura is down to her being in a good place and loving the single life.
She said: "Carol is loving her singledom. She's a happy, carefree, independent woman - I don't think she went into the jungle looking for love.
"She just went in to have fun and try her best.
"The public are already warming to her because they can see how kind and loyal she is - she's lovely both inside and out."
And with her ever-youthful looks, Claire is flying the flag for her pal Carol, 55, who walks all over the other women in the camp.
She said: "Carol looks absolutely incredible - every time I see her she looks better.
"She just sits there next to all the younger girls, with no make-up on, and looks more beautiful than any of them."
Could the TV brainy beauty go all the way? Claire said: "She's absolutely incredible. Of course she can win - I'm sure she will! I know she wants to."
