Slowthai’s name pulled from Reading & Leeds line-up as he’s removed from Glastonbury posters after rape charge
RAPPER Slowthai has been removed from the Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury line-up after being charged with rape.
The Grammy-nominated star, 28, allegedly twice attacked a woman in Oxford in September 2021.
Slowthai, real name Tyrone Kaymone Frampton, had been due to appear at a string of music festivals this summer.
But his name has now been scrubbed from the line-up at Reading & Leeds Festivals.
Frampton had been due to appear on the Main Stage West at Reading on August 26 before performing in Leeds the following day.
He has also been quietly removed from Glastonbury posters ahead of the event at Worthy Farm in Somerset between June 21 and 25.

Organisers for both festivals have not officially commented on the line-up change.
It is not clear if Frampton will still support Blur at their upcoming Wembley Stadium show in July.
The rapper has issued a statement on Instagram after yesterday appearing in court.
He said: "Regarding the allegations being reported about me. I categorically deny the charges. I am innocent and I am confident my name will be cleared.

"Until then, I will apply my energy to ensure this is concluded swiftly and justly.
"I ask that my supporters don't comment on this situation and respect the process and privacy of my family during this time."
Frampton appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday via video-link.
The musician spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Both counts relate to the same alleged victim, JPs were told.
Frampton was bailed to next appear at Oxford Crown Court on June 15.
The rapper, who hails from Northampton, burst onto the music scene in 2019 with album Nothing Great About Britain.
He gained a loyal following thanks to his lyrics about Brexit and then-Prime Minister Theresa May.
During his 2019 Mercury Prize ceremony performance, he held a fake severed head of Boris Johnson on stage.
The controversial rapper also made headlines at the 2020 NME Awards after he hurled a champagne glass into the crowd.
He also apologised to comic Katherine Ryan after he was accused of making lewd comments towards her.
Frampton was nominated for best dance recording at 2021’s Grammy Awards.
