S CLUB 7 fans around the world were left devastated when Paul Cattermole sadly died.
Now, his cause of death has been revealed following an investigation into his untimely passing aged 46.
Who was Paul Cattermole?
Singer and actor Paul Cattermole was born on March 7, 1977, in St Albans, Hertfordshire
He was best known as a member of hit pop group S Club 7, joining the band when it formed in 1998.
S-Club had huge success during their time in the spotlight which includes songs Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’, and Bring It All Back.
In 2002, Paul made the decision to leave the group behind and return to his “rock roots”.
After leaving S Club 7, the singer formed a new group Skua, but they split a year later.
However, he rejoined the group and was due to go on tour in 2023 with Hannah Spearitt, Jon Lee, Jo O’ Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett, before he sadly died.
Before becoming a pop star, Paul spent time at the National Youth Music Theatre and appeared in Pendragon (1994).
A man of many talents, he then went on to study theatre and acting at the Mountview Drama School.
When did Paul Cattermole die?
On Friday, April 7, 2023, the tragic news that Paul had been found dead at his home in Wareham, Dorset, was announced.
A statement at the time from his family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.
“Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.
“Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.”
What was Paul Cattermole’s cause of death?
Dorset Coroner’s Service investigated Paul’s sad passing, and revealed his cause of death for the first time.
A spokeswoman told The Sun: “I can confirm that Mr Cattermole died from natural causes and our investigations have concluded.”
It means no inquest will be held into the death of the singer,
Dorset Police, who found his body, claimed their enquiries remain “ongoing”.
