A LEADING anti-bully charity has blasted I’m A Celebrity after Martin Roberts was reduced to tears.
They accused campmates Scarlett Moffatt, 26, and Danny Baker, 59, of ganging up on the Homes Under The Hammer host.
Martin, 53, had to be comforted by ex-footballer Wayne Bridge, 36, after repeatedly ignoring camp president Scarlett’s requests to restock the water supply.
Radio veteran Danny told him: “Martin, she’s the President mate — whatever she says to do, you do it.
“Well, you don’t. You always answer her back like she’s some silly kid and she isn’t.”
He claimed others backed him, adding: “I’m the spokesman.”
National Bullying Helpline founder Christine Platt said: “It’s a pity there are no phones as we would want to encourage Martin to call us right now.
“All forms of bullying or psychological abuse are abhorrent to us. It seems Scarlett and Danny are colluding and collectively targeting Martin.
“This is a pattern of behaviour we might ordinarily expect to see in the workplace or school playground.”
She added: “If the bullying has reached the point where the target is showing visible signs of distress, ITV need to intervene as a matter of priority.
"If ITV take no action it will give out the wrong message. To ignore bullying is to condone it.”
Martin first clashed with Danny after accusing him of gloating about a trial victory.
Last night ITV insisted: “The welfare of our celebrities is of utmost importance. We constantly monitor and talk to them to check their welfare and have procedures in place to address any unacceptable behaviour.”
