After last week’s excitement in Blackpool, we’re back down to Elstree where the competition gets even hotter for the six remaining couples.
And there’s a new wrinkle introduced at this stage this year as Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly introduce the ‘Cha Cha Challenge’.
No, that’s not Claudia adopting a speech impediment for a joke, it’s a new extra dance that’s been thrown into the mix.
After performing their individual routines, the couples won’t be able to relax, they then have to dance a Cha Cha as well.
And you know that Len Goodman is going to be watching like a hawk to make sure they’ve got enough of the correct steps in the dance. Talk about exhausting.
There’s a lot of potential for mistakes, and it could mean that the leaderboard is turned upside down
at a crucial stage of the competition.
Who will be going home tomorrow on the results show, which also features music from Ellie Goulding?

Credit to the remaining contestants – getting to the final five on this year’s show is a massive achievement considering early favourites, including Gifty Louise, fell by the wayside.

The laugh-out-loud escapades continue as tonight Michael introduces performances from comedian Russell Howard and band OneRepublic, while Alexander Armstrong is the helpless star playing Celebrity Send To All.
Meanwhile, a woman approaching 80 gets to take part in Soap or Nope.
It’s all great fun, as usual.

It seems like a lifetime ago that the famous faces had to walk the terrifying plank from the roof of that Surfers Paradise hotel – they thought that was bad, and look how far they’ve come since!
As we enter the third week of the competition, the King or Queen of the Jungle throne gets that bit closer… Tensions are running high.
