Shakira ‘begs Tom Cruise to leave her alone and stop flirting with her’ after F1 meeting sparked dating rumours

, reports from the pair's meeting confirmed that the Mission Impossible actor, 60, was "absolutely mesmerised" by the singer and had even told a close circle of friends that he felt a connection with her.

An insider told  that there was "chemistry" between Tom and Shakira - with the actor sending her flowers after meeting.

But Shakira, 46, is reportedly "focussed on her family" rather than dating anyone at the moment, following the messy split from her husband Gerard Pique last year.

Heat magazine alleges that the Colombian singer-songwriter has been "begging him [Tom] to stop flirting with her," citing a source who had made other comments about the meeting.

The source also claimed that Tom was "giddy" after speaking to Shakira while adding that the interactions were similar to "how he acted" when he first got with his ex-wife Katie Holmes.

After being photographed together at the Grand Prix in Miami, the source reported that the Whenever Wherever singer was just being "friendly" before Tom allegedly began calling her his "dream woman".

The source added: "She doesn't want to embarrass or upset him, but there's no attraction or romance on her part - she was just being friendly. She's flattered but not interested".

Shakira's message has allegedly been "politely" shared with the actor who is reportedly not giving up on finding love again despite the singer not being interested.

US weekly reported that Shakira has "seen the online rumours that Tom has been courting her," but "thinks it's hilarious because it's just not true".

It comes as the Hips Don't Lie singer was also spotted enjoying a sunny boat ride with Lewis Hamilton.

Shakira was picked up from the back of her £16million Miami Beach mansion before cruising around Biscayne Bay with the Mercedes driver.

She was all smiles as she boarded the vessel which had an inflatable crocodile strapped to the top - and appeared to be greeted by Lewis.

The pair had been spotted just days before having dinner together at the lavish restaurant Cipriani.

Shakira appeared to be seen in the clip walking across the restaurant as she seemingly approached Hamilton's table.

But despite being seen hanging out with Lewis - The Sun Online understands the duo are just friends.

Shakira announced her separation from footballer Gerard Pique last May after spending 11 years together.

The Colombian singer-songwriter was reportedly "evicted" from her Barcelona home by Pique's dad last month, sparking her move back to Miami.

The mum-of-two made no mention of the eviction order in the farewell message she posted on Instagram after being pictured leaving the Catalan capital with her two children to start a new life in Florida.

Shakira and Pique confirmed in November they had reached a child custody agreement after a marathon 12-hour meeting with their lawyers.

They signed the accord at a court in Barcelona the following month.

As part of the agreement Pique, now dating 24-year-old Catalan beauty Clara Chia, will spend holiday time with his children.

Shakira’s wish to move to Miami, where she used to live and part of her family are based, is understood to have been the sticking point in the former couple’s previous failure to strike an out-of-court settlement. 

They share two sons, nine-year-old Milan and Sasha, seven.
