Who is Gaz Beadle? Geordie Shore star whose girlfriend Emma McVey has given birth to a baby boy
GAZ Beadle is the only original cast member to still be starring on Geordie Shore as its 15th series comes to an end.
He has also taken part in two series of Ex on the Beach, as well as indulging in some widely-publicised romances – but now he's expecting his first child with girlfriend Emma McVey.
Where is Gaz Beadle from?
Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle was born on March 22, 1988, in the market town of Hexham in Northumberland to parents Shirley and Kevin.
He has an older sister called Claire who he is very close to and with the money he made since finding fame, paid for her to take a full year off work when she had a baby.
He also bought his dad a house and put his cousin through dance school.
How did Gaz Beadle become famous?
Gaz became a household name when he joined the cast of MTV reality show Geordie Shore in 2011 for the very first series and soon became a fan favourite.
The hunky star is currently starring in the fifteenth series of the hit show – which teased season 14 with a disgusting sneak peek of the "minging" bedrooms.
However, in November 2016 he hinted that his time on the show will soon come to an end.
He also exclusively told The Sun Online that a move to Australia would be on the cards when he finally hands in his notice.
But it’s not the only reality show Gaz has taken part in. In 2013 he took part in Celebrity Wedding Planner and was a cast member on the second and third series of Ex on the Beach.
Gaz also starred in his own show – Spring Break With Grandad, a reality show that saw “eight ‘hot twenty-somethings’ heading to beach party capital of the world Cancun with their grandparents in tow to have the ‘greatest vacation of their lives”.
If that wasn't enough, the 29-year-old also took part in Hell's Kitchen Australia – striving to impress fiery chef Marco Pierre White.
Who has Gaz Beadle dated?
Gaz had a highly-publicised on-off relationship with fellow cast member Charlotte Crosby but he was also linked to two other girls on the show, Marnie Simpson and Vicky Pattison.
Despite their relationship ending in acrimony in 2016, Charlotte seemingly put the bitter split behind her when she shared a romantic memory from their time together.
However, Gaz's grandfather Raymond Johnson claimed that their relationship was never genuine, and was only part of the reality show.
How has Gaz's relationship with Emma McVey developed?
Gaz relationship with Emma McVey – a 24-year-old lingerie model – has been intense from the start.
They started dating in August 2016 and were immediately inseparable, packing on some serious PDA during public appearances.
Just a few months into their relationship, Gaz even revealed he was interested in marrying Emma.
Then in January, Gaz surprised Emma by taking over an entire beach and writing a giant love message in the sand below their luxury hotel at the Fairmont Ajman resort.
However, in late May this year they split up in dramatic circumstances, with Emma branding Gaz a "liar" and a "cheat" in a furious post claiming he had dumped her by text.
She called him a "selfish narcissist", claiming he had continually cheated on her throughout the relationship, and ordered her to move out of the home they shared together.
However, the pair got back together in June, with The Sun Online revealing that the couple had rekindled their romance after winning her over.

The couple revealed their happy news via Instagram on Tuesday, August 22.
Alongside the picture of the couple cuddling up with a pair of baby booties, Gaz wrote: "SO SO SO excited to eventually be able to tell you all this... I AM GOING TO BE A DAD... WE ARE HAVING A BABY.."
"I love kids and literally can't wait for this new adventure... argghhhh literally no words SOOOO HAPPY!!!"
Emma was equally thrilled, reposting the picture with her own message. "So excited to share our news and begin our new adventure, we can't wait to meet you little one - we are having a baby!!!"
The reality star posted a second snap showing the scan alongside a Dior dummy and little booties emblazoned with the logo "I heart mum" and "I heart dad."
When did Emma McVey give birth?
Emma and Gaz announced on 15 January 2018 that they had become parents for the first time.
The couple said their newborn son was happy and healthy.
Sharing two snaps of his newborn son, Gaz wrote: “WOW what a feeling no words can describe it meet our son he is perfect in every way and healthy weighing 6lbs 2 @Emma_mcvey_ is fine and did amazing...
“I am a dad can’t believe it... I cried I smiled I panicked but I will be there for him no matter what.”
What else has Gaz been involved in?
There’s a bit more to Gaz than just reality TV – in fact, the star has been quite savvy when it comes to business and investing the money he’s made from the show.
He drives a £120,000 Bentley, a classic car that will always hold its value, and owns Pure beach club on the Greek island of Zakynthos.
Gaz also owns his own clothing brand called 11 Degrees and he is also planning to buy up some student accommodation to make a few extra quid.
And he even has his own phone app which features a range of his very own emojis.
Not bad for someone who was signing on five years ago!
