Cheryl slams I’m a Celebrity’s Martin Roberts as viewers brand him ‘smug’ after he wins a spot in the ‘Royal’ camp

CHERYL joined the rest of the nation tonight in slamming "smug" I'm a Celebrity's Martin Roberts.

It was after the Homes Under The Hammer star won a play in the 'Royal' camp.

Martin Roberts, Adam Thomas, Sam Quek and Wayne Bridge are the new jungle Royal Family after winning the Vicious Circle trial for a life of jungle luxury.

The royals arrived at Snake Rock very excited to see their palatial surroundings.

Martin said: “I’m seeing some nice looking beds, some nice interior design, what a delight, we’ve got beds, a warm shower and we’ve got some bread and cheese.”

They savoured every morsel of the bread and cheese lunch and took advantage of the warm showers complete with loofahs and shower gel and sprawled over their single beds complete with duvets and soft pillows.

After seeing Martin's reaction when he arrived at the luxury camp, the former Girls Aloud singer said: "I can't decide if Martin is a deliberate wind up merchant or just a natural at it 😤 #imacelebrity"
And she wasn't the only one.

Angry viewers quickly took to Twitter, one tweeted: "Martin is so bloody smug😠😠#Imacelebrity
Another said: "Get Martin out #imacelebrity"
This one said: "Everything about martin is so irritating #imacelebrity"
And this one said: "Martin is loving his current position as royalty 👊🏼😡 #imacelebrity";

During the trial, which won him his place, Joel Dommett had to keep telling Martin to be quiet, as he was clearly irritating him.
And it seems the public is thinking that too.
He is set to face the next trial tomorrow the Bush Brewery, to see if he can win immunity before Friday's first eviction.
By the looks of his popularity, he will need immunity.
