THIS Morning fans have claimed Holly Willoughby "knew something was off with Phillip Schofield" after spotting a "clue".
Holly, 42, and 61-year-old Phil's once-close friendship is now in tatters after he admitted to lying about a previous romantic relationship with a younger male ITV colleague.
Since the fall-out from Phil's bombshell confession Holly has insisted she had no knowledge of the affair.
But an eagle-eyed viewer has insisted she had her suspicions about her former best friend - pointing out Holly's body language during an episode of This Morning before Phil's shock exit from the show.
Posting a clip from the episode that aired on May 17, the TikTok user highlighted the fact Holly could be seen leaning away from Phil during a segment about exam stress.
They added: "She knows something... body language is off and the look she is giving him."
Just three days after the show in question Phil released a statement telling fans he was stepping down from This Morning with immediate effect.
Less than a week later he made the bombshell confession of his affair with a former colleague, with ITV subsequently severing all ties with Phil despite previously insisting he would continue to work on the channel.
Phil said: "I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague.
"Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship.
"That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over.
"In an effort to protect my ex-colleague I haven't been truthful about the relationship.
"I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family."
Holly later issued her own statement, saying: "When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not.
"It's been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie."
