Towie’s Jon Clark rushed to hospital with head injury after nasty fall ice skating during filming
The Only Way Is Essex star was taken to A&E on a stretcher at the Christmas special
JON Clark was rushed to A&E after injuring himself ice skating during filming for Towie.
The Bambi-legged reality star was taken to hospital on a stretcher after a nasty fall left him with a head injury.
Filming the Towie Christmas special at Riverside Ice Skating Rink in Chelmsford, Essex, he fell while mucking about on the ice.
Jon was pictured falling over multiple times before the crash that saw him leaving the rink for good.
An ambulance was called and he was given gas and air, then taken away on a stretcher by paramedics and taken off to hospital.
The fall was documented on Chloe Meadows' Snapchat.
While he was being check over by paramedics, the Towie girl captured it all for her followers to see.
Jon was given the once over by the medics and they decided to take him to hospital for more checks to make sure he hadn't broken any bones or had concussion.
He wasn't the only one who couldn't keep his balance on ice either.
It seemed like most of the boys spent their skating time on their backs on the ice.
The girls uncharacteristically wrapped up for the event and wore sensible outftits, which was very unusual for the normally flesh-flashing females.
He's now at home recovering slowly, but suffering with a bad back which is 'killing him'.
In his usual style, he took it all in his stride and added some humour to the accident.
He wrote on Twitter: "What a day I've had... been stretchered to A&E nearly got fingered by a doctor and lost my Louboutins somewhere all in the name of Towie."
And he gave his followers quite a lot of information about his trip to hospital.
He wrote: "Doctor in A&E just tried to put his finger in my a**!! mate I'm having a bad enough day as it is.... ffs ."
Of course it wasn't just about the skating.
The multi-skilled girls managed to skate AND take pictures of themselves on their phones.
Jon's brother Chris recently shared a photo of himself looking very different - and carrying a lot more weight.
The Towie castmember posted a picture on his Instagram page showing the way he looked in 2013.
He looks virtually unrecognisable in the snap, which shows him floating in the sea on a rubber ring.
Chris, 22, added a picture of himself three years later, showing off his buff body in just a white towel.
The Towie star shared the pictures with an inspirational message, revealing he has completely transformed himself in just three years.
