What time is Alan Carr’s Happy Hour on Channel 4, who are the guests and what’s it about?
HAVE your Friday nights been missing something since Chatty Man went off air?
Don't fear, Alan Carr is back with a brand spanking new chat show to brighten up these gloomy winter nights.
We have all the details about his new show.
What time is Alan Carr's Happy Hour on Channel 4?
Alan Carr's Happy Hour kicks off on December 2 at 8pm.
The series will have a four episode run and finish up on December 23.
Who are the guests?
The first guests on the show will be James Arthur, Rebel Wilson, Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett.
Clearly his earlier time slot hasn't lowered his chances of bringing in some big celebs.
What's it about?
As we revealed back in September, this will be Alan's first pre-watershed venture.
The show will still involve him grilling celebrities but in a more informal style, and, given the earlier slot, no alcohol will be on offer.
So while he won’t be plying his guests with quite so much booze, he does promise to show them a good time at his new ‘Social Club’.
A Channel 4 insider revealed: “This is huge news for Alan – he’s getting a major new show.
“Chatty Man isn’t being axed and could still come back, but this is a new show that everyone is excited about to set Alan up for the future.
“It’s going to be on much earlier at night to introduce him to a new audience, so there won’t be any drinking with guests.
“But there’ll be loads of other shenanigans with celebrities like crazy games.
“It’s a big show of faith in Channel 4 for Alan who has become one of our biggest stars.”
The show will also feature live music from top chart stars, plus light-heart antics with audience members.
