Former Spice Girl Mel C has revealed that she hasn’t been able to watch much of the new series due to her busy schedule but says that she keeps hearing Honey G’s name.

She told the Press Association: “I haven’t seen any TV because I have been so busy, but everyone kept mentioning this Honey G and I was so curious so I thought ‘right, I’ve got to Google’

“I am so confused. Is it for real? Is she pulling the wool over our eyes? Is Simon Cowell? I’m at a bit of a loss.”

She added: “But we are all talking about her, it’s all over the press. It would appear in this case that was the most important thing.

“I’m intrigued to watch the show so it’s working on me.”

But the 42-year-old went as far as saying she would never be a judge on the show because of acts like Honey G: “If I had to save Honey G from deadlock I don’t think I could live with myself.”

Meanwhile, yesterday Stephen Bear shared a new video, which mocks X Factor star Honey G, with his fans.

The clip, which sees the North Wheezy rapper chanting her usual phrase, has gone viral since it was created.

There’s a twist however, as when Honey prompts: “When I say Honey, you say…” a young girl pops up and says “F**k off.”

Ex On The Beach star Stephen is the latest celebrity to jump onto the video – with former Celebrity Big Brother star Aisleyne sharing it with her followers earlier this week.

His followers thought the video was hilarious, with one commenting next to it: “Couldn’t have said it better myself.”

Honey, real name Anna Guildford, has caused shock waves after reaching the latter stages of the ITV singing competition.
