She told  It’s always been gymnastics first for me - so I’ve never had time for anyone else. I just want to think about it after the 2020 Games now, but I believe that I will find someone one day."

Admitting that she has been "sheltered" in her life, the Bristol born star has revealed that with the exception of the odd glass of wine with dinner, she doesn't drink.

Claudia, whose in the final six with AJ Pritchard on the BBC dancing show, also spoke of her gruelling schedule to keep in top shape for the Olympic Games - with training running from 6.30 to 9.30pm nearly every day.

However, she credits the show and her partner for helping her "grow up"  in small ways, including affording her the opportunity to get on the train for the first time on her own.

She now is set to dance the Argentine Tango on Saturday night's live show to Justin Timberlake's Cry Me A River.

On top of this, she will be facing this year's Cha Cha Challenge in order to win extra points to send her through to the next show - something that could come in useful after falling into the bottom two for the first time last week.

She managed to maintain her place by reperforming the jive to Mickey in the dance-off - sending fellow sports star home.
