Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry share the stage at the Good Food show

The Bake Off stars put the past behind them and cuddled up during their set in Birmingham

PAUL Hollywood and Mary Berry put on a united front at the Good Food Show in Birmingham – proving there are no sour grapes between them.

The pair, who worked together on The Great British Bake Off for six years, went their separate ways earlier this year when it was announced the show would be moving from the BBC to Channel 4.

Mary looked delighted as she worked through cooking demonstrations with Paul on stage at the NEC in Birmingham.

Looking intently at Paul’s work, the pair both wowed the crowds with their cooking.

Mary became known for her chic styling on GBBO and it seems she’s carried her working wardrobe on, wearing slim fitting black jeans with a funky jumper.

The 81-year-old finished her outfit with a pink scarf looped around her neck.

The pair cooked a variety of dishes during the demo, with Paul showing Mary his coriander infused tagliatelle pasta.

Mary in turn made sure the audience got the best tips on some of the desserts – including a chocolate, cream and icing sugar dusted pud.

At the end of their presentation, the pair cuddled on stage and shared a glass of white wine.

News the much loved Great British Bake Off was moving to Channel 4 shocked fans when it was announced in September.

Love Productions, which help produce the popular baking show, confirmed that”exhaustive” negotiations with the BBC had broken down.

Channel 4 later signed a new three-year agreement and Jay Hunt, the channel’s Chief Creative Officer said of the deal:

“Channel 4 is very proud to be the new home for The Great British Bake Off.

“I’m delighted we have been able to partner with the hugely talented team at Love Productions to keep this much loved show on free-to-air television.”

Paul later confirmed he would be following the show while Mary stayed loyal to the Beeb and refused to move over.

She was later followed by Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc who said they wouldn’t be presenting the show when it started again on Channel 4 in 2017.
