I’m having the best sex since my twenties at 52, reveals Naked Attraction’s Anna Richardson
NAKED Attraction’s Anna Richardson has opened up about her recharged sex life at 52.
The presenter, known for hosting Channel 4’s infamous nude show, has candidly admitted to recapturing “amazing sex” like she had in her twenties.
Anna, 52, detailed the “injection of energy” into her sex life, despite battling Perimenopause and fertility issues.
The sex savvy host, who is also a trained cognitive hypnotherapist, isn’t shying away from breaking the stigma of sex after Menopause.
Chatting to she revealed that her new partner, Simon Marks, 55, has helped her embrace her new-found libido, stating: “There’s something wonderful about meeting somebody new that makes you realise, ‘Oh, I’m not dead from the waist down!
“Actually, I can experience amazing sex like I had in my twenties. It is possible to recapture it, but it takes work.”
Anna also hopes to encourage others to discuss the taboo topics, including vaginal dryness.
She went on to say: “I’ve experienced some vaginal dryness and that has made sex tricky at times.
“It’s something I talk about with my girlfriends. We’re all like, ‘God, are you a bit dry?’ and ‘Have you got cystitis?’
“Let’s get this conversation going. It’s being beautifully done by Davina McCall and various other women, so it’s good that the conversation is out there.
“But no one is talking about this final taboo. It’s a bit of an unspoken thing, but women really want to know about sex during menopause.”
Refreshingly honest, the star has previously opened up about experiencing a traumatic ectopic pregnancy whilst encouraging women to celebrate “maturity, wisdom and age”.
Anna famously dated Bake Off host Sue Perkins for seven years, before calling it quits due to reportedly being in different places about starting a family.
Meanwhile, following speculation that Naked Attraction had been axed, Channel 4 have since insisted that the raunchy show will return to our screens.
A spokesperson said: “Naked Attraction has not been decommissioned and a new series will return to Channel 4 next year.”
The Sun understands that ten episodes are already in the can and will air in 2024.
