The Trollstation member’s prank caused a security breach during the live show prank
THE X Factor has had its fair share of controversial moments over the years including Honey G’s stage invasion.
During the live show on week seven of the 13th series of the ITV talent show, serial prankster Daniel Jarvis caused an uproar as he and friends rushed the stage just as the rapper was finishing her performance.
As security and Simon Cowell rushed to the rapper's defence, Jarvis and his gang tried to grab her baseball cap and trademark sunglasses, leaving her shaken as they were removed from the stage.
But who is Daniel Jarvis and what other mischief has he and his cohorts gotten up to? Here’s what we know.

The 27-year-old, who hails from Gravesend in Kent, is a serial prankster who is a member of Trollstation and took full credit for Honey G’s stage invasion during one of The X Factor’s live shows.
What is Trollstation?
Trollstation is a YouTube channel created by a group of practical jokers who carry out pranks and social experiments on the unsuspecting public.
The prank are covertly filmed, often without the permission of those being filmed, and then uploaded onto their YouTube page
What have their pranks involved?
Some have seen the group carry out social experiments such as a having a blind man or a child drop a wallet to see if it’s returned to them, impersonating traffic wardens, seeing how people react to breastfeeding on a train.
They have also invaded the ring at a WWE SmackDown match, impersonated a member of the Queen’s Guard, set up a nightclub on a tube carriage complete with bouncer and promoter, and being drunk in public in Dubai.
Have their pranks ever gone too far?
In November 2014, Jarvis and fellow Trollstation members Nathan Thompson and Gomes Garcia invaded the pitch during the UEFA Europa League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Partizan Belgrade.
Thompson took a picture with Spurs player Kyle Naughton and remained unchallenged on the pitch for about ten minutes.
In July 2015, Trollstation carried out a mock heist on the National Portrait Gallery in London during which they pretended to steal paintings, causing panic and a rush to escape among visitors.
And, in May 2015, during the World Diving Championship, Jarvis ran past security, stripped off to a pair of Speedos and jumped off the highest diving board at the Aquatics Centre in London.
Have they ever been arrested or jailed for their pranks?
After the pitch invasion at White Hart Lane, the three men were arrested and placed into police custody.
They were charged with pitch invasion and were fined £155 each and were banned from all football matches in England and Wales until 2018.
After the mock heist at the National Portrait Gallery, all four pranksters who took part, including Jarvis, were jailed for a total of 72 weeks after pleading guilty to two counts of using threatening behaviour, causing fear of unlawful violence.
What did they do to Honey G?
During the live show on week seven of the 13th series, the rapper had just finished her performance of a mash-up of It’s Like That and Getting’ Jiggy With It and was listening to the judges’ comments about her song.
As Louis Walsh was talking, Jarvis ran on the stage with other Trollstation members and tried to grab the rapper and take her baseball cap and sunglasses.
The men were grabbed by security and escorted off stage and Honey G tried to laugh it off despite being visibly shaken - while her mentor Sharon thought it was hilarious.
They filmed the prank and uploaded it and it’s believed that ITV are not planning to take any further action against the men.
