STRICTLY'S Hamza Yassin has issued a terrifying warning after a nasty bug got stuck in his leg.
The wildlife cameraman, 33, shared an alarming video of his swollen calf, with a live tick embedded into his skin.
Addressing his Instagram followers, Hamza claimed the parasite could cause him to develop Lyme Disease, which causes ‘brain swelling’.
He said, "For those that work in the [Scottish] highlands, they'll kind of know this but if you don't and you're coming up to the highlands, make sure that you tuck your socks in and take preventative measures because the ticks are certainly out this year.
"If you find one of these, use the tick remover and talk to your GP.
"Make sure you don't get a red swelling afterwards because Lyme's Disease is a big issue. So I'll be taking this one out soon."

In a follow-up clip, he continued: "So, I've got the tick remover and I removed the tick.
"Sorry I couldn't show you it because I don't have too many hands but you use the little tick remover underneath.
"Make sure you don't just tug on it, twirl it like this first and the tick will come out.
"More importantly, the tick with its mouthpiece comes out and then it's down to you to get rid of the tick any way you see fit. Alright, see you soon, bye."

Lyme disease can, if left untreated, cause heart failure and nerve damage.
It is a bacterial infection spread by ticks when they bite humans. There are round 3,000 cases of Lyme disease in England every year.
Ticks can be found all year round, but are most active in the spring and summer months when the weather gets hotter.
Hamza, who lives on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Highlands, rose to fame after winning the BBC dance contest in December alongside his partner Jowita Przystal.
