Christopher flew to Poland for his surgery and is currently recuperating in hospital there.
The ex Celebrity Big Brother contestant has since spoken to and confirmed he has had blepharoplasty. The private procedure sees excess skin being removed from the eyelids.
Christopher told the publication that his Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) has been in "overdrive" for the past 12 months.
The states that BDD is "a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others".
The NHS website also urges who people think they may be suffering to contact their GP, adding: "Getting help is important because your symptoms probably will not go away without treatment and may get worse.
"You can also refer yourself directly to an NHS talking therapies service without a referral from a GP."
Speaking about the condition, Chris has told MailOnline it is an "uncontrollable addition".
He added: "My body dysmorphia, my anxiety and depression has taken over my life. In the past 12 months it's gone into overdrive.
"This is my 20th surgery in seven years and it's a really major. I know it's excessive but I just can't help it. I need to stop but I can't."
Christopher, who found fame on The X Factor in 2012, also says he "feels sick" when he looks in the mirror.
The star believes he has spent around £100,000 out of his own pocket on various surgeries over the years, including nose jobs, hair transplants, veneers and other eye lifts.
In 2015, Chris opened up on This Morning and explained that his mental health took a huge knock due to the online trolling and death threats he received while on The X Factor.
He said: "As the series was going on and the further I got in the competition, I was getting really bad trolls.
"They were telling me they were going to kill me, they were going to shoot me. I got called Mr Potato Head, that I was ugly and I've got a big nose.
"It's just affected me so much. At the end of the final, I did have a breakdown."
