Sonam Kapoor is an Indian actress who stars in Bollywood movies.

She was born on June 8, 1985, in Mumbai.

Sonam delivered a spoken word piece at King Charles coronation.

Her father is actor Anil Kapoor, who appeared in roughly 100 movies throughout his career.

She began her career as an assistant director for the 2005 movie Black.

Two years later she made her acting debut.

Kapoor is one of the highest paid actresses in Bollywood.

She is also an open supporter for LGBT rights in India and raises awareness about breast cancer.

What TV shows and films has Sonam Kapoor been in?

Her debut movie Saawariya was a box office flop.

However she made her first success with the romantic comedy I Hate Luv Story in 2010.

Since then she has starred in many movies including Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), Preem Ratan Dhan Payo(2015), Sanju (2018), and The Zoya Factor (2019).

On July 7, 2023, her movie Blind, a crime thriller, will be released.

Kapoor is married to businessman Anand Ahuja.

The couple married on May 8, 2018, in a traditional Sikh ceremony in Bandra, Mumbai.

Her husband owes a Delhi based shoe brand and went to Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania.

Kapoor had her first child in August 2022, a son named Vayu.
