KERRY Katona has left her fans panicked after posting a scary video of herself inside a tank using an oxygen mask to breath.

The media personality shared the clip as part of her treatment process after recently being diagnosed with Scoliosis.

The mum-of-five could be seen with an oxygen mask covering her mouth as she stared into space for the first few seconds of a brand new Instagram video.

Wearing a black tracksuit, the star then went onto explain just what she was up to.

Kerry said: "I've recently just been diagnosed with Scoliosis and I've been in so much pain but I'm absolutely fine.

"I've come to this hyperbaric oxygen chamber and it's going to help me with my pain and I stay in here for about an hour and it increases your oxygen levels."

The former Atomic Kitten singer added: "Half of my brain doesn't work like the other half of my brain but it's all good, nothing bad."

Reassuring her followers, she insisted: "Don't panic, I'm not claustrophobic. I'm meant to breath it all in and I'm going to put some meditation music on and I am going to relax and chill and let the oxygen do the work."

Kerry was happy at the prospect of finally finding some relief after insisting she had been in a world of pain.

The star told her fans: "When I say I've been in so much pain, you have no idea!"

Kerry was recently forced to quit her latest tour as a result of being in crippiling pain.

She opened up about her struggle in her column for, writing: "I'm in a bad way this week with my hips and my back - I'm in so much pain, I've essentially been bedbound.

"My hips have been out of place for a long time, and now it's got to the point where the pain is making me feel physically sick."

The mum of five continued: "I literally can't do anything and I had to pull my weekend tour. I couldn't go ahead with it and felt terrible."

Kerry explained: "I'm normally a very active person and I'm always on the go, but it's like my hip joints are rubbing and it's affecting my whole back.

"I've been so close to going to A&E, but I don't want to be a burden or waste anyone's time."

Since writing her column, however, Kerry managed to put on a brave face and make a scheduled appearance at Lancaster Pride .
