Coronation Street’s Caz Hammond exposed by Aidan Connor but bitter police detective lets Maria Connor rot in prison
Maria's been locked up after Caz successfully convinced the police that she had murdered her
CORONATION Street's Caz Hammond has been exposed - but the police aren't buying it.
With the police coming up with nothing while trying to find Caz's 'body', and Maria Connor framed for her murder, Aidan Connor had been on a mission to find Caz and free the Weatherfield One.
But after giving up for the day and concentrating on getting new leads for work, he stumbles on the scheming madwoman working in another factory.
Conning his way into the factory under the guise of a health and safety worker, Aidan chases down Caz but loses her as she makes a run for it.
But when the police refuse to turn up, Aidan takes matters into his own hands and goes back into the factory.
Explaining to the owner about Caz and who she really is, the police finally arrive and kick him out, but they don't take him seriously.
Arriving at his flat to take his statement, soapland's worst and most aggressive police detective, tries to shame Aidan about doing their job for him.
"We just need to take a quick statement about this afternoon's events. Could you give us a detailed description of the person you saw?
"Looked like Caz, walked like Caz, it was Caz," he hit back, but the stony-faced police detective was having none of it.
"Did you think by phoning us and saying you'd seen her, that would be enough for us to immediately release Maria?
"We'll wait and see if the young lady who ran out of the fire exit turns up for work tomorrow.
