Andy Carroll and Billi Mucklow reveal son Arlo, 8, has been diagnosed with life changing chronic disease

ANDY Carroll and Billi Mucklow have revealed their son Arlo, 8, has been diagnosed with a life changing chronic disease.

The couple - who share three children - made the revelation after weeks of health concerns.

Billie, 35, who shot to fame on Towie, welcomed her first son Arlo with Andy, 34, in June 2015.

But the devoted mum has now revealed that her son has a life changing condition.

Taking to Instagram Billi posted a carousel of images of her little boy as she issued a heartfelt update on his condition.

The former reality star confirmed she and her retired footballer husband found out their "beautiful" son has type 1 diabetes just two weeks ago.

The TV star continued: "Wow there is so much to learn, lots of life changes. We’ve had amazing support from our Diabetic Team to help us learn and understand how to care for Arlo."

Billi went on to list the symptoms Arlo displayed, which included the 'Four T's' - saying "thirsty, thinner, tired and toilet (constantly needing to wee mostly through the night)", and added: "We’re lucky we caught it early. He’s just been fitted with @dexcomuk G7 CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) so far it’s a game changer."

Meanwhile, since getting together the couple have welcomed a big brood of kids into their lives, and along with Arlo have another son, and one daughter.

The pair announced the birth of their second child, Wolf, on November 15, 2017.

At the time Billie posted a picture of her son's tiny hand in his white baby grow lying on a pale blue little blanket with W9C sewn into it.

She captioned the shot: "Welcome To The World My Little Cub 15-11-17 #W9C #BabyCarroll".

She wrote alongside it: "Wolf Nine Carroll You Have Stole Our Hearts 15-11-17 #BabyBoy#Wolfie #MyLittleChubbyCub".

The nine in Wolf's name represents the number that footballer Andy wore on his shirt at West Ham.

The couple then announced on September 9, 2020 that they had welcomed a third child, a daughter called Marvel.

Andy is also dad to Emilie Rose, 14, and Lucas, 13, from a previous relationship.

The couple have been together for nearly 10 years.

Ex-reality star Billi began dating Andy back in 2013.

He then popped the question during a romantic holiday in Rome in 2014, before marrying in 2022.
