But Zachary, 27, revealed he may be having more luck on the outside after he took Edinburgh beauty Mal Nicol on a date.

He said that the pair have recently enjoyed spending time together - saying the romance is "early doors at the moment".

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Zachary said: "We've been spending a lot of time, me and Mal. We've had a double date, me and Mal and Gabby and Kodie. It's early doors at the moment.

When asked if he thought that a romantic connection could develop between him and Mal, Zachary said: "You never know, she's a good looking girl.

"I'd be stupid to not see where things go, we get on really well but it's early doors at the minute, we'll see."

Unfortunately Zachary was sent packing after failing to make it into the main villa.

But the star explained things could have gone very differently.

Zachary told us: "It was an unbelievable experience, sad to not have carried on longer. Obviously me and Jess had a bit of a connection, it was good but I knew she was still interested in Sammy.

"There was a point where me and Whitney had a little bit of something - like a chat and she said I surprised her.

"But I knew I wasn't attracted to her in that way. I was like 'do I be a f****r and just get back'. But because she's so nice, I can't."

There has been a number of twists and turns as the series gears up to an explosive finale in less than two weeks.

The latest shock bombshell saw Ouzy See and Kady McDermott given the boot after Whitney and Lochan voted them out.

Zachary admitted that it was the wrong decision.

He said: "I'm gutted to see Ouzy go, he's my best boy. I think they're the wrong people to go. Mitch shouldn't have stayed.

"Mitch has had more chances than anyone, he could survive a nuclear holocaust. He's like a cockroach, he won't die.

"The girl that has come in Ella B, has a type which is Tyrique and Ouzy, she's playing a game.

"Mitch and Ella will split up when they come out of the villa, they aren't lasting. I think Mitch had a better thing with Abi.

"I think Mitch struggled, I don't think he knew what he was going to do. It's over between him and Abi - she feels mugged off and Scott is a nice guy he seems."

He added: "I think Scott's a good looking guy but he's quite quiet and doesn't have that laddish banter, that's what I heard from the girls."

Zachary said he already has his prediction on who will make it to the final two, saying: "I think the final will be Tyrique and Ella and Lochan and Whitney. I think Whitney and Lochan is going to win it."
