Who is Romee Strijd?
Romee, 21, was born and raised in Holland and was originally scouted to model when she was 13 years old.
Originally turning down the offer because "she'd never thought about it", she eventually convinced her mum to allow her the chance to give the career a shot.
Since then, she has walked runways for a series of high-fashion brands including Burberry, Prada and Christopher Kane, and has appeared in campaigns for Alexander McQueen, Donna Karen and H&M.
She called her first ever fashion week "the most special memory of her modelling career so far".
In 2012, she appeared in British Vogue twice in editorials snapped by Daniel Jackson and Paolo Roversi.
Romee credits British supermodel Kate Moss as her style icon because of her fashion sense.
How long has Romee been working for Victoria's Secret?
Romee was chosen to be one of Victoria's Secret's newcomers for their 2014 fashion show.
Following her success on the catwalk, she was named as a contracted Victoria's Secret Angel in 2016.
In the 2016 Fashion Show in Paris, Romee performed onstage alongside Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Jasmine Tookes - who was given the honour of being this year's fantasy bra wearer, encrusted in diamonds and emeralds and worth £2.5million.
Romee walked the runway alongside crooner Bruno Mars, who performed at the star-spangled event.
