Now she's shared a candid photo of the reality of living with the condition and told her followers the latest medication she'd tried had stopped working.

Jess wrote: "In November I went to a specialist & I was put on a form of medication in the hope that it would stop it in its tracks, calm it down & then when I come off of the meds after around a year, it wouldn’t be as aggressive.

"This medication cleared nearly all of my psoriasis which was wonderful for a little while.

"However side effects of the meds started to creep in & become more evident which didn’t make me feel great & then when I tried lowering the dose, the psoriasis started to come back with a vengeance.

"It’s actually I’d say on par with how it was before, if not worse. And it’s actually really sore."

Fans were quick to send messages, with one writing: "Please don't let your psoriasis stop you from your passions. Take care lovely, you got this."

Another said: "So sorry to hear this ongoing frustrating discomfort that you are undergoing."

And a third added: "Sending love to you Jess - there are other ways and I am sure you have lots of wonderful advice here."

Jess previously spoke to The Sun about her experience with psoriasis.

She said: "It's really taking it's toll mentally but you just have to try and have faith that eventually you can get to the bottom of it."

The condition - which affects an estimated two per cent of people in the UK - causes, according to the , red, flaky, crusty patches of skin covered with silvery scales.

In May last year Jess became a mum for the first time when she and husband William Lee-Kemp welcomed son Presley.
