Who is Elsa Hosk? What's her background?
Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk was presented with offers to model when she was just 13 after her father sent pictures of her to various agencies.
While she did a few modelling jobs during her high school career, most notably for Guess, she chose to focus on a career in professional basketball after finishing her studies, although she has previously stressed that it was not to the same levels as the WNBA in the States.
But she continued to be noticed for her looks on the court and after two years of playing moved to New York to begin modelling full-time.
She won Sweden's Next Top Model in 2012.
She is now ranked 15th on the Top Sexiest Models list by models.com.
She has modelled for Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, Free People, Ungaro, H7M, Lilly Pulitzer and Guess.
How did Elsa Hosk become an supporter of anti-human trafficking campaigns?
Elsa became interested in the issue after seeing the film The Whistleblower, a drama based on the experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska cop who served as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and outed the U.N. for covering up a sex trafficking ring.
She has worked to support the organisation FAIR Girls - which aims to prevent the exploitation of girls worldwide through empowerment and education.
The organisation was founded by Andrea Powell and Caroline Tower Morris in 2003 as FAIR Fund was created to empower girls in the U.S. and around the world who have been forgotten, exploited or otherwise are at-risk of not reaching their potential.
FAIR Girls currently operates programs in Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Russia, Uganda, and the United States.
Has Elsa Hosk really suffered with body image issues?
Despite her stunning figure, Elsa has claimed she thought her behind was too big and that she used to hide it with jumpers when she was in high school.
The model told the Mail Online: "I used to hate my butt — like, hate it.
"In school I used to cover it up. I felt like it was too big like I felt like I needed to wear a sweater over it. It was awful."
