Bollywood star Ananya Panday stuns in Rimzim Dadu showstopper as she graces catwalk for India Couture Week

BOLLYWOOD film star Ananya Panday dazzled in a Rimzim Dadu dress as she graced the catwalk for India Couture Week.

Decked in a glamorous two-piece, the actress was dubbed a "golden diva" after her appearance on stage.

The 24-year-old from Mumbai, India, showcased the Rimzim Dadu piece along with a pair of killer golden open-toed heels.

The stunning gold number turned heads as the design was reportedly inspired by water's form, power, and versatility.

The abstract two-piece saw Ananya in a low-cut V-neck top with straps and a matching maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit and 3D leaf detailing.

Following the minimal jewellery trend, the actress paired the look with sleek hoops and a gold ring.

She also accessorised the glam look with subtle makeup and had her long brown locks left draped down her back.

The collection takes inspiration from traditional Indian crafts and weaves, reimagined in a contemporary context using signature materials.

The Fashion Design Council of India shared pictures of the dress to Instagram and posted: "Each garment flows like the tide, embodying the spirit of ripples in water bodies, exploring abstract perception and the fluidity of identity.

"The highlight is the textural forms from mesh and lace, ranging from soft organic to bold architectural forms".

Expressing her excitement about the show, Ananya said: “I am feeling amazing and great. She made me a golden bird. So I am so happy.

“My designs are organic. I love playing with materials. Breaking materials apart or putting them together, for me serve as a starting point for my thought process.

"I love playing with metallics. They are usually part of all my collections. So. different shades of metallic like golden and silver, I love working with.

"Ananya is a youth style icon and she embodies my design aesthetics. So I feel for us she was the perfect fit".

This comes after the Bollywood star shared snaps of her Ibiza holiday as rumours swirled about her new romance with fellow acting pal Aditya Roy Kapur.

After posting stunning bikini snaps to Instagram, fans of the 24-year-old were quick to comment "Where's Adi?" - the nickname for her new beau.
