Chloe Moretz reveals post-break-up makeover as she transforms herself with a new hair cut after Brooklyn Beckham split
The actress has gone for a darker style with a curtain fringe
CHLOE Grace Moretz proved she's just like the rest of us when it comes to coping with a relationship split and has headed to the hairdressers in an attempt to heal her heartbreak.
The actress and Brooklyn Beckham called time on their love earlier this year and yesterday, she showed off a radical re-vamp of her blonde locks as she headed to an event in California.
Gone was her lengthy ash blonde style replaced by a darker layered cut with a wispy curtain fringe.
The front of her newly-chopped locks swept over her eyebrows and very nearly covered her eyes as she struck a sultry pose on the red carpet.
Chloe, 19, packed on the attitude at the TrevorLIVE fundraiser held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
She kept her make-up minimal to let her rock-star style hair take all the attention.
Meanwhile the Kick Ass star chose a equally edgy black floral print suit for her night out, choosing to go shirt-free and flash her chest under the plunging neckline.
Taking to her Instagram page she hinted her new look was inspired by the Rolling Stones.
Alongside a pouty selfie she wrote: "Mick Jagger ... you there?" before going on to thank her hairstylist.
Teenager Chloe's loyal fans gave a big thumbs up to her new look and attempt to wash any trace of David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son out of her barnet.
One wrote: "That hairstyle is so cool, girl!" while another heaped praise and wrote: "Your bangs are life."
Meanwhile a super fan wrote: "Love your hair now!" followed by five Emoji icons with heart-shaped eyes.
Chloe and Brooklyn, 17, called time on their relationship just over a month ago amidst reports Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son dumped the filmstar because she was “too clingy” and too much hard work for a lad his age.
The Sun revealed the tipping point came when Chloe, who is based in LA, moaned relentlessly every time he went back to London
A source said: “Brooklyn is so young with his whole life ahead of him, he basically just didn’t need the aggro.
“He was besotted with her at first, but as time wore on Chloe wanted to become more serious and given he lives on the other side of he Atlantic, it was something he couldn’t offer."
Chloe then surprised her fans by pulling out of several film projects, including Universal’s live action remake of The Little Mermaid.
Describing it as having “a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment”, she told : “So I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again.
“I’m realising that I can slow down.”
