Mariah Carey’s assistant reduced to tears as she can’t get Apple TV to work in her hotel room
The diva's assistant couldn't hide her emotions in the new reality show
MARIAH Carey's assistant was reduced to tears in the debut episode of the diva's highly-anticipated docu-series, Mariah's World.
While Mariah's diva nature is well known, fans finally got to see what it is like to be a staff member working for the staff in the new E! show.
Mariah's assistant Molly revealed how the pressure can often be too much as she is seen breaking down in tears because she couldn't turn on the Apple TV in Mariah's hotel suite in London.
Holly states: "The Apple TV is the most important thing for Ms MC. If she can't have the Apple TV playing while she's sleeping then she can't sleep.
"If she can't sleep, she can't perform. If she can't perform, there's no show. If it's not there everything else falls apart."
When even hotel employees fail to get the TV working, Milly bursts into tears.
The extended preview of the entire docu-series gave a hint of the fun to come when it was released last month.
The 46-year-old singer is seen bumping and grinding with backing dancer Bryan Tanaka – who was rumoured to be partly responsible for her recent spilt, as members of her team voice their concerns about his “huge crush” on her.
In one scene the diamond clad diva pours champagne onto his ripped torso, while in another she grinds up against him and seductively poses for him, adding fuel to the rumours that the pair are in a relationship.
“Looks good from over here,” says Bryan as Mariah makes eyes at him on the tour bus, while a woman’s voice is heard saying: “He has a huge crush on her.”
Mariah’s manager Stella Bulochnikov is then shown discussing the chemistry between them, saying: “He’s not leaving that easily.” While another women asks: “What are we going to do with him?”
The cameras then cut to Mariah sitting on the 33-year-old’s lap as both of them look very happy.
Another clip shows Tanaka moving his hands down her body, apparently unaware of the cameras.
Mariah’s billionaire ex James will no doubt be riled by these scenes as he was said to be extremely jealous of the pairs’ chemistry and has demanded that E! remove all scenes with him in, following their dramatic split in which she's demanded a mansion.
Meanwhile Mariah’s other wild tour antics are shown in full force, as she tries space cakes on a bus in Amsterdam where marijuana is legal, excitingly exclaiming, “I’m about to have a space cake!”
Fans will also be delighted to see the singer make fun of her diva image, and while her team fall out around her, the singer who is branded “the lowest maintenance person on tour” jokes with pals saying: “Mariah Carey was so upset in the studio she threw her diamonds against a wall,” as she throws a piece of jewellery.
Despite James not appearing in the show, it does chronicle their relationship, with scenes of her trying on her wedding dress and asking for a “tiny tiara”, and then appears to show the breakdown of the romance later.
In emotional scenes Mariah laments: “A lot of people have hurt me that are not so great.
“I fear I have been scarred forever, you don't have the slightest idea.”
