In spring 2016, Channel 5 broadcast a two-part documentary series called The Secret Life of Puppies.

The fly-on-the-wall series followed man’s best friend in the first year of their lives. The first episode focused on the first eight weeks - from birth to the moment they join their human families - and comparing the development of the firstborn and the runt.

The second episode focused on the puppies leaving their mothers to join their human families.

What is the second series about?

The Secret Life of Puppies returns for a new series, this time focusing on the Terrible Twos.

Tonight sees the first episode aired in which the puppies are now learning about the world and their surroundings.

The Secret Life of Puppies: Terrible Twos airs on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm for an hour.

The second and concluding part airs next Monday, December 12 at 9pm.
