KATIE Price has admitted that she feels 'sorry' for ex-husband Peter Andre because his newborn son won't get to enjoy a first Christmas with all his siblings.
The former glamour model, who made her return to Loose Women today after a short break, made the revelation as the panel discussed the struggles of celebrating Christmas as a divorcees.
Speaking to her fellow co-hosts Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter, Katie explained: "I would want my kids all the time and every Christmas day but when you split it doesn’t matter what I want or what Pete wants, you've got to think of the kids."
She continued: "This year I feel bad for Pete and Emily because they just had a baby but I’ve got Junior and Princess this Christmas. They’re going to have that first Christmas without them.
"But then I had to do that when I had my son Jett."
Katie added: "I say to the kids, 'You're so lucky, you get two Christmas' and two lots of presents."
Ruth asked how Katie would react if her kids told her that they didn't want to go to their dad's for Christmas.
Katie replied: "When they get older they might say, 'Oh I want to be with you', but you can’t really let them make those rules so early."
“Peter and Emily are both extremely happy. Both mother and baby are doing fine.”
They’ve yet to decide on a name.
Pete and Emily welcomed their son two weeks ago and a spokeswoman for Peter told The Sun:
He wrote in his new! magazine column: "Without going into too much detail, there were a few complications, but thankfully everything is OK now."
Peter added: "What I will say, it certainly hasn't put Emily off having more kids. She's a trouper. It's funny because I found myself saying the other day 'when we have the next one...'"
The newborn is the couple’s second child, joining two-year-old Amelia in the new Andre clan.
