Peter said: “It’s an interesting one. It would have to be a long-term relationship for me to pay for a partner of one of my kids to come on holiday with us.
“I have two young kids I don’t want them just seeing older siblings bringing people along.”
Peter’s eldest daughter Princess, 16, was recently revealed to have a boyfriend after they went public with their romance in May – something which Peter has said “makes him anxious.”
The 16-year-old has kept her boyfriend’s identity hidden, but shares the occasional update with him on social media.
On the topic of holidaying with his kids’ partners, Pete continued: “My main question is where are they going to stay? I don’t want them staying in the same room!
“It might be a different story if it’s a long-term relationship. It’s a good question… I got anxious thinking about it.”
The doting dad-of-four also answered whether he’d pulled Princess’ boyfriend aside for a chat when they began to date.
“Haha, oh yes! We’ll just leave it there,” the TV star added.
Princess has really come into her own in recent years, and recently landed a four-figure clothing deal – following in her mum's footsteps.
Pete also shares son Junior, 18, with ex-wife Katie, and he is now married to doctor Emily MacDonagh and the couple share children Theo and Amelia.
The strict dad admitted he’s happy for Princess to continue modelling, so long as school remains a priority.
He said: “I don’t mind because I know the offers that come in. She is still studying, so, she can do the odd photo in her own time, but her focus is still on schooling at the moment.
“She’s just about to start college where she’ll be studying fashion and beauty. I want her to follow the career she chooses. I’m OK with it as long as it’s done slowly and in a nice way and doesn’t affect her schooling.”
Peter’s chat comes as he opened up on On the Beach’s Big Summer Sun Report and how holidaying Brits should all start singing Sir Cliff Richard’s ‘Summer Holiday’ song again, to revive British traditions.
Chatting about holiday with his kids and wife, Pete shared: “On the Beach have really good deals, I’m a proud ambassador.
“As a family we’ve now got back to normal ways when it comes to holidays . We do everything together when we go away.
“Me and Emily don’t go off for dinner on our own, we all want to be together, we want to be with everyone and it’s all about the family. We play tennis , go to our favourite coffee shop, or to the beach together.
“Summer holidays are like Christmas , but a longer version. It’s time for families to bond. Sunshine, family time, good food… what is there not to love?”
