Gemma Atkinson hits back after cruel mum shamers brand her ‘fat and lazy’ three weeks after giving birth
GEMMA Atkinson has hit back at cruel body shamers who branded her "fat and lazy" three weeks after giving birth.
The former Hollyoaks actress said vile trolls have been sending her messages after seeing photos of her with newborn son Thiago and her mum Sandra.
Gemma, 38, is currently recovering after giving birth to her second child with Strictly Come Dancing star fiancé Gorka Marquez, 32, via a C-section.
The former Strictly contestant said: "So me and my mum went out the other day and a guy papped us.
"I have no issues (with it), he's doing his job ...
She continud: "We were walking to the doctors which is about five-minute walk and I need some steroid cream - well I needed, I have some now, for my pile. It's not gone.

"So I had an appointment at the doctors to pick that up and I'm still in these dresses because when I wear trousers my scar area rubs.
"My mum was pushing the pram because it's quite hilly where I live. Downhill I could push him, uphill it was a little bit tender and I don't wanna overdo it."
Gemma, who already shares four-year-old daughter Mia with Gorka, said that after the photos circulated online she was sent a flood of abuse.
She said: "Anyway, my point is people message me a lot of DMs. Obviously, it's lovely - some are lovely, some are horrible, whatever.
"I've already had one today kicking off that Thiago shouldn't be in the sun…
"Anyway so people were messaging me, I got one saying how lazy I was letting my mum push the pram.
"I got another one saying you used to be fit and you're still fat."
Gemma recently revealed her birth story following the safe arrival of her son - yet admitted her recovery has been "tough."
The Hollyoaks star, who hits the gyms most days and is a fitness influencer, told fans that she has lost 12lb since giving birth and wants to lose two stone.
She also proudly announced the name of her adorable tot, Thiago, as she opened up on the moniker's significant meaning.
