Adele breaks down in tears and sobs onstage as fans interrupt her Las Vegas show

ADELE broke down in tears and sobbed onstage as fans interrupted one of her recent Weekends With Adele shows in Las Vegas.

The 35-year-old couldn’t contain her emotions as she shared couple Chris and Shantelle’s baby news with the crowd.

The couple, from New York, travelled to Las Vegas to watch Adele perform and walked up to the front of the stage to reveal if they were going to have a boy or a girl.

Adele confessed that she was “obsessed” that the pair managed to sneak a sign into the venue as they passed it over to her to read.

18-weeks pregnant Shantelle said to the Rumour Has It songstress: “I’m just so honoured that you’re going to do this for us.

“We’ve known since 12 weeks and we have been waiting for this moment.”

Adele sat down on the stage, opened the envelope and shouted: “Shantelle and Chris are having a boy!”

The singer added: “That was amazing. I’m so happy for you.”

She quickly turned her body away from the audience as her emotions got the better of her.

Adele turned around sobbing and said to the couple: “I’m so happy for you…”

She continued: “That’s so emotional. If and when I get pregnant will you do my gender reveal?”

Fans loved the viral clip.

One said on Twitter: “Adele doing that gender reveal just eats away at my heart and the fact her was genuinely happy for people she didn’t even know. this is why we love her.”

Another chimed in: “adele crying while doing her first gender reveal ever i love this woman more and more every day.”
