Popstar Cruz Beckham is eyed up by The Vamps who are desperate to write songs with him
CRUZ Beckham is a musician in demand now he’s burst onto the scene with his first song If Every Day Was Christmas.
The 11-year-old has caught the eye of British band the Vamps, who’ve previously featured his older brother Brooklyn in the music video for Wake Up.
When the youngster joined Instagram, The Vamps’ lead singer James McVey was straight onto him and asked him to join them in the studio.
Commenting on his picture, James wrote: “Welcome mate! Let’s write a tune.”
Although Cruz didn’t respond the band have made another plea to the star, telling ITN’s Lucy Jones they’d love to team up with him.
Bradley Simpson, the band’s guitarist, said: “Maybe [Cruz is] the feature on the next single,” before James revealed they all thought his new song was “really cute”.
James knows the Beckham’s through Brooklyn after they met up in Los Angeles and started talking about ideas for a music video.
During an appearance on Loose Women, James said: “I was speaking to him online and then texting him a little bit, and then we knew we were both in LA at the same time and we thought it would be cool to get him involved really.
“I sent him a text and asked him if he'd be the lead role and he said yes.”

By DAN WOOTTON, Bizarre Editor
IT’S a cheesy as his parents’ wedding snaps, with saccharin lyrics about kissing his 'girl' under the mistletoe.
Just like his mum, young Cruz seems to be a fan of getting a bit of help through autotune.
But there’s a huge market out there for the next Bieber.
THREE STARS OUT OF FIVE
James also joked he felt like he was dating Brooklyn after picking him up to go to a gig.
He said: “We went to see James Bay the other night, and I picked him up and it felt like I was taking him out on a date actually.”
In the Instagram video, 41-year-old David's youngest son is sitting at the breakfast table in his school blazer and tie as he listens to his recorded message on the radio.
He looks nervous as he grins and hold his hands, laughing as the sleigh bells begin to chime on the record.
Becks shouts “Woo! Nice!” in the background as Cruz smiles.
His dad commented next to the video: “Not his average morning before school... Proud of my little man with his new Christmas single and also helping children around the UK with the proceeds from this...”
Joined by dad David, before the song got it's first ever play, Cruz told host Dave Berry how he felt about releasing his first single: “It's amazing! Its two of my favourite things singing and Christmas.”
David then added: “I'm very proud. He's having fun and he's really enjoying it.”
