The X Factor’s Dermot O’Leary confirms that The Weeknd, Kylie and Little Mix will be performing on spectacular final
However the X Factor host said that he was unable to reveal the duets
DERMOT O'Leary has confirmed that The Weeknd, Kylie Minogue and Little Mix will be performing on The X Factor final.
The host appeared on Lorraine this morning to talk about the hotly anticipated show at the weekend.
When prompted about which acts would be preforming on the final, he revealed: "I can tell you that The Weeknd's playing... and Kylie's going to be there and theres another and Little Mix are coming back as well."
Lorraine remarked: "Right, ok, we like Little Mix."
Dermot joked, referring to their controversial outfits the last time they were on the show: "Yeah, in their undercrackers."
Lorraine commented: "Well, I would think so. And don't they look amazing?"
He responded: "Ah, the best."
The host, however, admitted there was another act but wasn't able to name them. He remarked before revealing the other performers: "I can't tell you the duet."
Dermot also revealed that the elimination process over this weekend's final would be the same as it usually is, with one person being eliminated on the Saturday and the last two battling it out on the Sunday.
Finnish singer Saara Aalto has leapfrogged Matt Terry to become bookies' favourite to win the singing competition.
Dermot travelled with Saara to Finland to meet her fans.

He told Lorraine that they "were so proud of her".
The X Factor host added: "She got to the airport [and] there were people everywhere...people love her now."
Dermot also spoke about Simon becoming softer as the years have gone on.
He admitted: "I think over the last sort of five years, you'll rarely see him say something mean."
The host described him as "a far warmer beast than people think" but cheekily added: "Louis gives far b****ier comments."
Also battling for the crown are 5 After Midnight and Matt Terry.
The singer, who landed in the bottom two against Emily Middlemas at the weekend, revealed that he would LOVE a huge duet with Sam Smith on this weekend’s show.
Appearing on today’s Good Morning Britain, Matt added fuel to rumours he would be sharing the stage with the British chart-topper.
He told hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: "I would love to duet with Sam Smith or Jessie J.
"I love them.
"They are my favourite artists."
Talking of the show's regular duet feature added: "They are who I want to be as artists.
"I love a bit of retro put into my songs.
"It's bringing the old school back."
