The mum-of-five reportedly met with a surrogate earlier this month, and they’d verbally agreed to carry baby number six for the former glamour model.
But those plans have been scrapped after Katie, 45, and the potential surrogate met for the first time.
The surrogate, whose identity has not been revealed, felt “disrespected” by Katie, and says she treated her and her four children “like s***.”
The source continued to tell “Katie's surrogate feels completely let down.
“She sacrificed a lot of time and energy getting to know Katie and verbally agreeing to carry her baby, which is a huge decision.

“As a fan of Katie's, this was something that she wanted to do until they finally met in person, and she was treated appallingly.
“The surrogate feels she was disrespected by Katie, who also didn't make her children feel welcome and she certainly wasn't appreciated, considering the sacrifice she was willing to make.”
The Sun has approached Katie's reps for comment.
The 45-year-old star - who is back together with her ex Carl Woods - is desperate to become a mum again.

And earlier this year, Katie's fans heard how she plans to make a TV show following her surrogacy journey.
Katie is already mum to five children; 20-year-old Harvey with Dwight Yorke, 17-year-old Junior and 15-year-old Princess with Peter Andre, and Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with Kieran Hayler.
If all goes well she will be following in the footsteps of US reality stars Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian who have had children with the help of surrogates.
A source said: "Katie is thrilled to be embarking on this journey. She loves babies and has made no secret of the fact she has wanted another one for ages.
"She had difficult pregnancies with Bunny and Jett, and struggled to get pregnant again when she was trying with Carl last year.
"Katie will capture the highs and lows of her surrogacy journey on camera, and she knows her fans will want to see it all.
"She's desperate for her kids to have a new brother or sister."
