Reading and Leeds Festival replacement for US superstar who pulled out at last minute ‘revealed’
YOU Me At Six has been bumped up the bill at Reading and Leeds Festival after a headliner pulled out at the last minute.
The British rock band will play on Main Stage West in Reading later than usual - and before electronic duo Bicep and fellow rockers Foals.
It comes after Trippie Redd pulled out of his performance at the festival due to illness.
The 24-year-old rapper took to Twitter earlier and said: "I’m so sorry to announce that I can’t perform this weekend. I was really looking forward to coming to Reading & Leeds…
"But due to illness I have to cancel my visit to the UK. I hope to see you soon!"
Reading and Leeds also tweeted: "Unfortunately we have to announce that Trippie Redd is having to cancel his performances at both Reading and Leeds due to illness.

Speaking to The Sun about the ups and downs of their fame, You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi, 33, previously said: "Imagine having the high of playing the sunset slot on the stage at Reading on the Friday and Saturday at Leeds, at 21 years-of-age, and being home at your parents’ house watching Match of the Day in your pants on the Sunday.
"The extreme highs and the extreme lows; no one prepares you for that.
"From the age of 17 I’ve been trying to handle those highs and not get carried away, and the lows and not lose myself.
