Leeds Festival 2023 thrown into chaos as performer ‘goes missing’ – as fans slam it as a ‘shambles’
LEEDS Festival 2023 was thrown into chaos as one performer went 'missing' and failed to appear on stage.
Rapper Lil TJay was booked to appear at this year's festival, which takes place this weekend.
However, organisers have said he 'failed to arrive on site' for his scheduled performance.
The American star, 22, was due to appear on the Main Stage West at 4:35pm on Friday.
In a statement a spokesperson for the festival said: “Unfortunately, Lil Tjay hasn’t arrived on site and we haven’t been able to contact him.
"We hope he will arrive soon."

That message was also displayed on the huge LED screens attached to the stage to confused and disappointed fans.
Festival goers also took to social media to ask the rapper where he was and demand he get on stage.
One said: "Shambles lads."
Another wrote: "Where you at bro... we're all waiting for you at Leeds fest man... sad times."
It's unclear if festival organisers managed to contact Lil TJay and what his reason for being a no-show was.
It comes as headliner Trippie Redd pulled out of his performance at the festival.
A statement on his Twitter account said: "I’m so sorry to announce that I can’t perform this weekend. I was really looking forward to coming to Reading & Leeds…
"But due to illness I have to cancel my visit to the UK. I hope to see you soon!"
Reading and Leeds also tweeted: "Unfortunately we have to announce that Trippie Redd is having to cancel his performances at both Reading and Leeds due to illness.
"We wish @trippieredd a speedy recovery."
