Rocker Rod Stewart welcomed back by budget hotel Holiday Inn after they lift 40-year ban for throwing ‘wild parties’
The 71-year-old was barred in the 1970s after throwing wild parties with his band Faces - inviting hundreds of girls back
FORMER hell-raiser Rod Stewart has stayed at a Holiday Inn after the budget hotel chain lifted a 40-year ban on him.
Rod, 71, was barred in the 1970s after throwing wild after-show parties with his band Faces.
He told Late Late Show host James Corden that the ban meant they had to check in as Fleetwood Mac.
But the chain said it was “not one to hold a grudge” and the You’re In My Heart singer would be “welcome back any time”.

A source said: “Despite having millions in the bank, he seems happy to save pennies by going budget.
“The most expensive suite is £120 so it is definitely no frills. The other guests were very surprised to see him there.”
