YouTube stars Zoella and Alfie see their assets grow to a staggering £2m in just a year
YOUTUBE superstars Zoella and Alfie’s assets grew to more than £2million last year.
The couple earn fortunes in advertising by chatting on video blogs.
Zoella – real name Zoe Sugg – had assets of £1.24 million and Alfie Deyes had almost £850,000 in assets.
Both went up by around £700,000 on the previous year
The pair date and live together in Brighton and together have bank balances worth £1.2 million.
Zoe has £750,000 in the bank of her company Zoe Sugg Limited and Alfie has £476,000 in his firm Pointlessblog Limited.
After creditors are paid Zoe, 26, is left with profits of £366,000 and Alfie has £160,000.
A financial expert said: “The rise in assets for two young business folk is amazing. They have obviously hit a winning formula.
“There are some costs which reduce the profit, but this quite likely includes dividends. So all is looking rosy.”
Zoella set up her first vlog in 2009 and now has 11.4 million subscribers and her Christmas blog has had 1.1 million views. Her more Zoella channel has 4.6 million subscribers and her latest upload also got 1 million views.
As well as advertising she has launched a range of beauty products and written a book called Girl Online.
Alfie has 5.4 million subscribers and his Couples Yoga Challenge posted last month was watched by 1.3 million viewers. In total the vlog he set up in 2009 has had 400 million views.
A second channel has 3.2 million subscribers and 470 million views and his gaming channel has 1.6 million subscribers and 153 million views.
