Strictly Come Dancing fans furious all FOUR acts didn’t go through to the final after phone glitch left viewers unable to vote
Upset viewers complained after Claudia Fragapane was voted out of the show
STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers have vented their wrath online after a technical glitch meant some were unable to vote for their favourite act.
The BBC released a statement last night about the problem, tweeting: “Apologies, we had a slight technical error at the start of the Vote. If you had problems, please try again. The Vote is open until 20.40.”
However some fans were left seething and claimed they couldn't vote properly.
As Claudia Fragapane lost out in the dance off to Danny Mac, fans of the show went online to moan about they thought the result was unfair.
Many believed BBC bosses should have allowed Claudia, Danny, Ore Oduba and Louise Redknapp to go through to the final next week.
The BBC rectified the problem quickly however some fans were left with a bad taste in their mouth.
Others were upset Claudia was voted out and claimed it was because of the technical problems.
One tweeted: “In the bottom 2 because her phone line didn't work, what a shame she's awesome! #strictly.”
Another commented: “So the best dancers were in the dance off #Strictly. Anything to do not with being able to vote 4 Danny or Claudia due to technical issues?”
A third wrote: “Tried to vote last night online, but it wasn't working. Sure Danny or Claudia would not have been in bottom 2 if working properly.”
Claudia left the show on Sunday night and was praised by her professional dance partner AJ Pritchard.
He said: “I’m just so proud of her, so proud of how far you’ve come and just how confident you are now. Thank you.”
Speaking about her time on the show, Olympian Claudia said: “I can’t believe I made it this far to be honest.
"Everyone is so lovely and I’m just so happy that I’ve made it this far and everyone has just been incredible people, and to come out and not be as confident as I was, I feel like a different person now, all thanks to this show.”
