Kate Beckinsale and Amy Adams lead the monochrome glamour at Critics’ Choice Awards as stars flash plenty of flesh in daring see-through gowns
In one of the biggest award shows of the season, the guests were dressed in black and white chic for classic glamour
BLACK and white statements were the look of the evening as the A-listers flooded Los Angeles for the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night.
Held at the Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Airport, there were no holds barred when it came to the glitz and glam of the evening - with everyone making sure they stood out in a series of signature gowns.
Emma Stone arrived at the event in a floor-length black skirt and halterneck, sequinned top, with a dark lipstick and her iconic red hair kept straight and swept into a drastic side parting.
She had a lot to smile about as her upcoming release La La Land, also starring Ryan Gosling, took home eight awards across the evening - including the much sought after Best Film gong.
The star later celebrated the win with co-star Ryan, who looked dapper in a suit but shunned the traditional tie.
Nicole Kidman missed the mark when it came to her Best Actress award - missing out to Viola Davis for her role in Fences.
She also wore a black two-piece, opting for a shoulderless gown by Brandon Maxwell that boasted cutaway panels across the front of her stomach - and a thigh-high dress split that showed off her legs.
Amy Adams only had eyes for her husband Darren Le Gallo as she looked every inch the classic beauty in a shoulderless, figure-hugging, white floor-length gown.
The pair co-ordinated their outfits perfectly - with Darren wearing a completely black suit that contrasted Amy's gown perfectly.
Kate chose a black, Reem Acra gown that was comprised of a shaped dress with puffy shoulders and elongated train, while crystals gave a cascading effect across the entire ensemble.
The sheer panelling across her chest and through her skirt gave fans a tease of her flawless figure without it being immediately obvious.
Meanwhile, the boys from Netflix smash hit Stranger Things once again charmed their peers in a series of classy suits and beamed as they arrived at the event all together.
Natalie Portman revealed a clear baby bump as she made an appearance at the event, opting for a rose covered poncho dress to accept the award for Best Actress for her role as first lady Jackie Onassis in upcoming biopic, Jackie.
