  • What is Joel Dommett’s net worth?

Reports suggest Joel has a net worth of over £2M, although this is just speculation.

It is believed he received around £25,000 for his stint on I’m A Celeb in 2016.

But Joel will earn much more today, as he’s become one of ITV’s most popular stars.

  • Lewis Capaldi says response to his documentary ‘means the world’ as he scoops NTA

Lewis Capaldi has said the response to his programme where he opened up about his mental health struggles “means the world” to him as he won in the authored documentary category.

The Scottish singer-songwriter was up against Rob Burrow: Living With MND, Matt Willis: Fighting Addiction and the documentary following the late Dame Deborah James, who set up the Bowelbabe cancer research fund, and died last year at the age of 40 after suffering from bowel cancer.

Capaldi was not able to collect the award in person as he is currently in America, but sent a video message where he said: “I have to say thank you so so so much if you voted or even if you just watched the documentary, it genuinely means the world and it never ceases to blow me away how much this documentary has connected with people and struck a chord.

“Thank you to everyone who was involved in making it with me. I’m sorry, I can’t be there tonight. I’m in America at the minute otherwise I would be.”

  • Sarah Lancashire crowned Queen of the NTAs

Happy Valley star Sarah Lancashire was crowned Queen of the NTAs as she collected a trio of gongs.

The actress, 58, welled up as she scooped the Best Drama Performance award for her epic portrayal of Sgt Catherine Cawood in the BBC1 police thriller.

The hit series also triumphed in the Returning Drama category following the sensational climax to its third and final series this year.

And former Corrie favourite Sarah was thrilled to land the prestigious Outstanding Contribution award at the end of the evening.

The emotional star said as she picked up her Happy Valley gong: “Thank you so much for this. I have adored every scene, every moment of Happy Valley. And I know I will never forget it.”

  • This Morning loses out on NTA’s Daytime gong for first time in 12 years

Phillip Schofield unfollowed ex-best pal Holly Willoughby — hours before This Morning lost out on the National TV Awards’ Daytime gong for the first time in 12 years.

Many blame the Schofield scandal for the show’s nosedive in popularity.

The shock loss at London’s O2 Arena left some staffers upset, with the coveted gong going to The Repair Shop fronted by Jay Blades.

A source said: “This Morning have won the Daytime award for 12 years so to lose now is a real kick in the teeth.

“There is a feeling that all the scandal surrounding Phil and what happened has damaged the brand.

“It is so hard for the team behind This Morning because they work so hard.

“Holly is doing her best to get the public back onside but it will take a while for the show to get back its popularity. She’s key to the future of This Morning’s success.”

  • Daisy Midgeley actress Charlotte Jordan looks unrecognisable in see-through dress

Corrie's Charlotte Jordan looked worlds away from her character on the cobbles at the National Television Awards.

Charlotte, 28, who plays Daisy Midgeley on the soap, wowed in a see-through gown adorned with sequin poppies.

  • Holly Willoughby breaks silence on ‘difficult’ year

Holly Willoughby has broken her silence on a "difficult year" filled with "ups and downs" following former This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield's exit.

At Tuesday's National Television Awards Holly, 42 - dressed in a stunning lilac dress - addressed a tricky few months to The Sun.

Speaking at London's O2 Arena, she candidly opened up on This Morning's show future and said: "If I'm honest it's been really up and down.

"But what's lovely is people rallying around you. The support is there. People want us to do well. It all feels good again.

"I just want to the future to continue as it is. We are very blessed we have a great team of people we really do.

"Everybody has been so lovely tonight and everyone is so happy to meet you. I mean you're in their living room everyday it's not like meeting someone from Coronation Street.

"I know there's been a lot of talk about things and for me personally, I don't want to speak on behalf of other people, it's a world I don't recognise.

"For me, I look around and see the team getting ready and giving it all. I just want to come to work and have more of that."

  • Susanna Reid dramatically pulls out of Good Morning Britain at the last minute

Good Morning Britain was forced to make a last minute change to its presenting line-up today.

Charlotte Hawkins was drafted in to partner Ed Balls after Susanna Reid lost her voice at the National Television Awards.

The change was announced at the top of the show with Charlotte saying: "Good morning to you, this is a bit of an unscheduled appearance for me this morning."

Ed was left baffled by the switch after seeing Susanna earlier in the morning.

He said: "I was about to say, you know, I came into the studio as usual about 4:30am. Walked past Susanna Reid's dressing room. There was Susanna, as always, in her white dressing gown, getting ready for the show to come. This feels like a bit of a change!"

Charlotte, who was also at the prestigious telly industry event inside London's O2 with her co-stars, said: "The reason is, because you saw Susanna there, but we couldn't hear her because she has unfortunately lost her voice. She is here in the building with us. Here she is, Susanna, how are you?"

A hoarse Susanna, who dazzled at the event in a glamorous red dress, explained: "I'm fine, I just can't speak!

"I don't know whether it was the heat, inflaming my vocal cords. It's funny because of course it was the NTAs last night and when I got my cab to leave, the driver said: 'You're the very first person to leave the NTAs, you're obviously not partying'. Of course, I don't drink, I don't smoke, so there's no reason I can understand why I've completely lost my voice."

  • Viewers fear for Lee Mack

Comedian Lee, 55, picked up the Quiz Game Show award for The 1% Club during the ceremony last night.

But after taking to the stage to collect his latest trophy, he made a rather crude joke about the retired Lioness, 36, who had presented the category alongside Mo Gilligan, 35.

Brandishing the gong, Lee quipped: "To receive a sex toy like this off Jill Scott is an absolute pleasure."

But some fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to claim the Woke brigade would come after him over the spicy acceptance speech.

One person wrote, "Well lee mack is gonna get cancelled now."

A second chimed in with, "Not sure @LeeMack did himself any favours there. Still a big fan of 100% club."

Someone else added: "Watching lee mack trying to be funny is just painful."

However, some enjoyed the speech, with one penning, "Lee mack makes me cry with laughter oh my god."

  • Ant & Dec say they’re ‘friends first – the shows come after that’

Speaking in the winner’s room, Ant McPartlin said the key to his on-screen chemistry with Declan Donnelly is a true friendship.

He said: “We’re friends. That’s it. We’re friends first and foremost and the TV shows come after that, so I think at the heart of it when you watch it, you know it’s a true friendship.”

Dec said: “We’ve always said that ours is a career built on friendship, not a friendship built on a career, so I think our foundations are very, very strong in our friendship and we’ve known each other now for 31 years, I think.”

Ant added: “We met at 13. We’ve grown like any friends do who have known each other that long. We know everything about each other. We know what makes the other laugh, what annoys the other one and, yeah, we love each other.”
