KATIE Price has revealed she's hard at work training for her new career - but won't be fully qualified for another five years.
The model and reality star, 45, has wanted to help others since before finding fame in her early 20s.
While the flash of the camera lens and glare of the spotlight have kept her busy for nearly three decades, Katie is keen to transition to a totally different career.
Now that she's completed her community service for a drink and drug driving incident in 2021, Katie wants to become a paramedic.
Speaking to Jamie Laing's Private Parts podcast, she said: "Everyone kept saying I should be a model but I was training to be a nurse and I was doing Project 2000, if anyone has heard of that or did it."
Project 2000 was a three-year higher education scheme for nursing qualifications that was introduced in 1990.

She continued: "A registered nurse is what I was training to be and, obviously, 26 years on I'm still in this industry, for God's sake. But now I'm training to be a paramedic. This'll take five years."
Jamie giggled: "This is amazing."
In addition, Katie is volunteering as a care assistant at St Catherine's Hospice, in Crawley, where she carried out her community service.
Katie first mentioned her dream of becoming a paramedic back in 2019 while judging a Porn Idol contest in London.
