Huge singer shocks fans by taking the tube and says it’s his ‘first time in 20 years’
MUSIC fans have found themselves doing a double take after a huge musician hopped on their public tube train.
Singer James Blunt jumped on the London Underground for - what he says - was the first time in more than two decades and snapped a selfie to mark the occasion.
While some passengers just kept their heads down, a chap behind James, 49, appeared to clock him.
Posting his snap on X, formerly known as Twitter, James mentioned the fella and poked fun at his smash hit song Beautiful.
He mused: "My first time on the tube in 20+ years. Dude behind me is worried that I think he’s beautiful."
Commenting on James' post, fans were quick to join in with the fun.

One replied: "Did he smile at you on the subway? Was he with another man?"
Another chimed in: "He saw your face, in that crowded place."
And third added: "But you won’t lose any sleep, cos you’ve got a plan."
James appeared to be posting his tube selfie in response to Piers Morgan's admission that he also got the underground earlier this week.

The TalkTV firebrand, 58, had posed for a picture as he travelled on a tube train to this year's National Television Awards.
"On my way to the @OfficialNTAs - my first time on the tube for 30+ years. Hasn’t got any cooler has it…," Piers wrote.
Piers is yet to respond to James' London Underground snap.
Meanwhile, James and Piers aren't the only famous faces to take public transport recently.
Pop superstar Billie Eilish was recently spotted boarding a flight before sitting herself down in economy class.
Billie, 21, is estimated to be worth $30,000 (£24,000).
